- No. You can use it on your phone only, without an account. With an account your data syncs across your devices and you can share an account with the people you live with.

- Only you, and whoever shares an account with you. Amounts, names and notes are encrypted on your device before they reach the server.
- Can I bring in the data I already have?
- Yes: import your history from an Excel file, and export everything whenever you like.
